Military graveyard in Bovec



Two kilometres from Bovec, at the crossroads of the Predel and the Vršič roads is a renovated Austrian military cemetery. It contains uniform concrete tombstones with a tau cross in the circle. By the cemetery at the crossroads of the two highways stands an obelisk made of masoned stone bearing the inscription in German, consecrated to the memory of the Austrian soldiers who fell in the years 1915 to 1917.

• 2 km from bovec, on the junction of the roads towards predel and vršic;
• this is a graveyard of the austrian soldiers, fallen in the i. world war between 1915 and 1917;
• next to the graveyard there is an obelisk of cut stone with the inscription in german, dedicated to the fallen soldiers.
