St. Stephen`s church in Log pod Mangrtom



It was built at the end of 18th century and later rebuilt. The presbytery contains the famous ceiling fresco of the »stoning of St. Stephen«, the work of a Slovene impressionist Ivan Grohar. The church also houses a wooden Gothic sculpture of Mary the Queen (Marija kraljica - from 1490 to 1500) and an oil painting of St. Sebastian (Sv. Boštjan) very likely the work of Anton Cebe from the Baroque period.
